Mission: To further interests of the University of Mount Union, promote education of women, prove an effective medium of contact among alumnae and the university.
Mount Union Women was founded in 1933 to support the education of women. We are a
501(c) 3 nonprofit organization that raises funds to provide scholarships to deserving female students at Mount Union.
Each year, more than twenty scholarships are awarded. Funds for scholarships are raised through donations from members, proceeds from working in the concession stand at home football games, and various fundraising activities.
Any female graduate or friend of the University may be a member of Mount Union Women. The organization has active chapters in the Alliance and Canton/Massillon areas plus members from across the country.
For more information on how to become involved, including social opportunities in Northeast Ohio, see our Facebook page (search for Mount Union Women), contact Joy Banish at joybanish@hotmail.com.
