    Bill Schumacher                                           

William Schumacher III '82

Bill is the Senior Vice-President/Market Leader for Stark and Wayne Counties of Westfield Bank.

While at Mount Union, he was a member of Sigma Nu fraternity.

He is a member of the Planned Giving Advisory Council for Akron Children's Hospital, member of the Board of Trustees for the Akron Children's Hospital Foundation, past President of the Board of Trustees for the Massillon Development Foundation, past President of the Crisis Intervention & Recovery Center, Inc. Board of Trustees and a member of the Board of Trustees for Stark Development Board Finance Corporation.

He is married to Kathy (Enders' 83) and has two sons - William IV '07 and Aaron '09.

He enjoys golfing and boating.



Robert Kerr

Robert A. Kerr '89

Co- Chair, Admissions

Robert is the Executive Director of Public Policies with H & R Block.

During his years at Mount, he was involved in Student Senate, The Dynamo, Sigma Nu Fraternity, class officer, East Hall Head Resident, Resident Assistant, student member of the Academic Policy Committee and a Presidential Scholar.

He enjoys attending alumni events in the D.C. area, politics, travel, architecture and design.


Scott Berkeley '80
Co-Chair, Admissions 

Scott is a Unit Field Trainer at Bankers Life and Casualty Company. 

 He is a member of the Kiwanis Club of Canton, serving as past President and current board member; current secretary/treasurer of Kiwanis Division 17 and past member of church finance. He is currently a choir member at Christ the Servant Parish and involved with Habitat for Humanity.

At Mount Union he was a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity, Concert Choir and Master Chorale. 

He enjoys genealogy, travel and camping.

He is married to Laura (Thompson '82) and has four sons - Doug (married to Mandy), Chris, Marshall '09 and Tyler '12; one granddaughter (future UMU '31) 



Teale Harold '11
Co-Chair, Communications

Teale Harold is a 2011 graduate in Political Science and International Relations. After receiving her Master's from Seton Hall University, she started working at her current job at the Permanent Mission of Japan to the United Nations.

While at Mount Union, she was involved with Student Senate, Student Ambassadors, and College Democrats. She served as Senior Class Secretary and the student representative for reviewing the new general education requirements. She was part of the Alpha Mu Gamma, Sigma Iota Rho and Pi Sigma Alpha honorary societies. She was awarded The Good Citizenship prize upon graduation.

When not working, she spends time enjoying all the New York City has to offer!


Chad Johnson '07
Co- Chair, Alumni Engagement 

Chad is a Certified Public Accountant and is a Tax Manager at Deloitte Tax LLP.

He is involved with the YMCA of Ashtabula County, United Way of Greater Cleveland, and serves as a trustee of the Herald Foundation. 

At Mount Union, Chad was a Preview & Orientation guide and Senior Class Secretary, as well as active in Student Senate, Student Activities Club, Residence Hall Association, Alpha Phi Omega Service Fraternity,and numerous other student organizations.  He received the Dean Taylor Leadership Prize and was named Outstanding Senior Man.

He enjoys finance, politics, tennis, golf, spending time with family and friends, and attending Mount Union alumni events.


Daniel Luketic '08
Co-Chair, Communications

Daniel is the Director of North Coast Angel Fund, the US's 5th largest angel fund investing in technology-enabled early stage ventures. He is also a co-founder of Risk Management Technologies and on the Board of the Incubox entrepreneurship support center. 

At Mount Union, he was a Presidential Scholar and received the Hubert R. Pinney Senior Award and the Outstanding Senior Man award. Daniel was involved in the Bringing Executives and Students Together (BEST) program, Tau Pi Phi
Business Fraternity, Investment Team and numerous other student organizations. 

Daniel received the Young Alumni Award in 2013.  

He is married to his high school sweetheart Christine and they have one daughter.  He enjoys watching TED talks, playing sand volleyball and camping.  


 Alicia Switzer

Alicia Switzer '13
Co-Chair, Alumni Engagement

Alicia is a Development Associate in Foundation Relations within the Philanthropy Institute at Cleveland Clinic. 

While at Mount Union she was Senior Class Treasurer, a member of Alpha Chi Omega, President of Raider Relief, an active member of Student Senate, a member of the Student Alumni Association, among many other organizations.

She was awarded The Good Citizenship Prize and was a Presidential Scholar and a Regula Scholar. 

She is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and plays an active role in Cleveland Clinic's VeloSano Bike to Cure event as a Volunteer Captain.

She enjoys running, all things outdoors, exploring the Cleveland restaurant scene, traveling, and attending sporting events.
