Registration:
Cost for the race which includes a race shirt and lunch ticket:

  • $20 for pre-registration or $25 day of the race
  • $5 for Mount Union Students with ID

Alumni may register using the online form. 
All others interested in participating click here (coming soon) to download a registration form.  Drop off the completed form and payment to the Alumni Office on the first floor of Beeghly Hall or mail:

Course:

The 5K/3.1 mile race will begin and end on the Mount Union campus in Alliance, OH. The course is mostly flat and fast, routed through residential areas surrounding the University. It will be police protected with splits at each mile and a water station. Runners should report for the start of the race at the MAAC (formerly Timken Physical Education Building).

 

Kid’s Race:

A special Kids’ Race is open to all children age 7 and younger. The race begins immediately following the conclusion of the 5K .The race consists of one lap around Mount Union’s track. Each participant will receive a prize. Pre-registration is required for the Kid’s Race to ensure prizes available for all.  (Race shirt not applicable for kids race if registering through the online form)


Awards:

Prizes will be awarded to the first three overall male and female winners of the 5K race and to the first two finishers in each age group (excluding overall winners). There will be a ceremony in the stadium following the conclusion of the race.  Winners must be present to receive prize.

Each pre-registrant will receive an all-you-can-eat lunch ticket to use that day in the Kresge dining hall in the Hoover Price Campus Center and a shirt. Fruit and drinks will be available at the finish line.
