8 a.m.:  34th Annual 5k Run-A-MUC

Race day check-in begins at 6:30 a.m. in the MAAC lobby 
Race begins at 8:00 a.m. in front of the MAAC (former Timken Building)
Participants in the Run-a-MUC must read and agree to the waiver on the registration form to participate

  • $20 pre-registration / $25 day of event. Mount Union students $5 with ID
    Shirts available only to pre-registered participants - must register by September 22 
    A Mount Union Sports Business student coordinates this annual Homecoming 5K run   
  • Kid's Race (free), immediately following the Run-A-MUC. Pre-Registration required.
    Race is for children 10 years and under and consists of one lap around the track. T-shirt is not available for the kids race (each child will receive a prize at the finish).  NOTE:  Kids Race begins after all Run-A-MUC runners have finished. 

9:30 - 11 a.m.: Alumni Brunch,Tent in King Hall parking lot 
Highlight event of Alumni Weekend which includes a short presentation of our Alumni Award recipients  plus recognition of our current legacy families and milestone reunion classes.  The Alumni Choir will provide musical sharing and singing of the Alma Mater.
All alumni and friends are invited to attend.

Event is a sit down buffet brunch beginning at 9:30 a.m. (please plan to arrive by 9:30 a.m. for nametag and assigned seating)

  • Cost $12 adults (ages 10- adult) and $5 child (ages 2-9). 
  • Pre-registration requested by September 22 (walk-ups accepted if space available).
  • RSVP required by calling (330) 823-2030
  • Game day PURPLE attire is appropriate

10 a.m - Midnight:  Alumni Weekend Shuttle - FREE!
Go Green and ride the free Alumni Weekend Shuttle Service all day!  Transporting alumni to and from campus with pickups from Alliance hotels every 30 minutes.  Avoid the hassle of driving or where to park.  Grab the shuttle to attend alumni weekend events on-campus then take the shuttle to area restaurants for dinner, to meet
up with friends at the post-game reunion locations and/or back to the hotel.

10 a.m. - 2 p.m.:  Alumni Weekend Headquarters, tent near the stadium
Stop by the tent outside the main stadium entrance to create a nametag to help classmates remember who you are, pick up a campus map and walking tour information, update your contact information, pick up a schedule of events and purchase an Alumni Weekend t-shirt for $10.  Information will also be available at the Info Desk in the lobby of the campus center.  


10 a.m.: BSU Alumni & Student Cookout, Gulling Parking Lot
Former and current members of the Black Student Union are invited to this family friendly pre-game cookout. 

10 a.m. - 5 p.m.:  University Store open (bookstore)Hoover Price Campus Center 
Visit the bookstore to purchase Raider gear and other items for the entire family!

All Day:  Self led tours of campus
Stop by the Alumni Weekend Headquarters tent or the Info Desk in the HPCC for detailed campus information to assist you on a tour!

11- 12:45 p.m.: Entertainment - Amanda Jones and the Family Band, Hartshorn Street Stage
Enjoy musical entertainment from the up-and-coming Amanda Jones and the Family Band featuring alum Amanda Myhal '15 on the south side of the stadium near the Gulling Center parking lot!  Event is free.

11 - 1:15 p.m.: MUcaw Fun Zone
Bring the kids to the MUcaw Fun Zone outside the Mount Union Stadium to paint pumpkins and take photos with 'MUcaw'.

11 - 1:15 p.m.: Photo Booth
Stop by the photo booth outside the SE corner of the Mount Union Stadium to take fun group photos with friends, family and classmates.  Reunion group photos, Legacy family photos and family/friend photos - be sure to hold up your reunion year sign!

11 a.m. - 1:15 p.m.:  '40's, '50's & '60's Reunion, Newbold Room, Hoover Price Campus Center
Classmates from those era's are invited to reunion together in the East Room of the Campus Center.  Enjoy sharing memories and what you've been doing for the past few years with each other.  Class reunion photo will be taken.  RSVP to or (330) 823-2030.

11 - 1:15 p.m.: 70's - 2000's Reunion, Tent on Hartshorn
   (Milestone years include grad years of '72, '77, '82, '87, '92, '97, '02, '07, '12)
Contact your friends and invite them to meet you for pre-game refreshments in the Reunion Headquarters tent plus reconnect with each other...bring the family too!

Class photos will be taken at the photo booth at your convenience - no group photo unless a class requests one.  We'll create a collage of photos.

11 a.m.: Alumni Swim Meet & Cookout, pool
Ready to get  back in the pool...or cheer on fellow alumni?  Men and Women alumni swimmers are invited to the annual alumni swim meet with the current team.  Warmups begin at 11 a.m. with the meet starting at Noon.  A cookout will follow on the south lawn of Chapman Hall.

12:15 p.m.:  Parade through campus
Take a moment to line the parade route and enjoy this Mount Union tradition! Children (plus Mom & Dad) are invited to walk in the parade.  Wear your Raider gear!  Event coordinated through Raider Programming Board.

1- 5 p.m.: Visit the Brumbaugh Nature Center, 16146 Daniel St NE, Minerva, OH
Stop by the Nature Center to enjoy walking trails and the visitor center.  The Center is located six miles south of Mount Union on Daniel Street, just off of Route 183 (Union Avenue).

1:30 p.m.:  Football vs. Ohio Northern, Mount Union Stadium
Game tickets are $10 each and available at the gate.  Advance ticket sales is not available.
   All seats are reserved in the stadium (both sides are considered home).

3:30 p.m. & Beyond; Post-Game Gatherings for ALL alumni to attend
All alums within each decade are invited to reunion together to socialize and visit with classmates at the following locations on their own.
   Leave your car parked and take the free shuttle! The reunion shuttle will make a continuous loop along State Street and Union so you may join up with friends and classmates then return to area hotels.

  • Chives Grill, 2355 S. Union Ave. (Former Bier Haus) 
  • The Hood, 848 W. State Street

3:30 p.m.: 1992 25th Class Reunion, TBD
Can you believe its been 25 years since you were a student at Mount Union?  Join together for a reunion with free appetizers and a cash bar at TBD to celebrate this milestone and find out what everyone has been up to since graduation.  RSVP to or (330) 823-2030


5:30 p.m.:  Black Student Union Alumni Gathering, Tent in the King Hall lot
Come and socialize with former members of the BSU during an evening full of music, conversation and refreshments.  Catch up with fellow members and friends.  RSVP requested to Callie Flonnoy at or (330) 823-2039.

7 p.m.:  Coffeehouse, Campus Grounds
Enjoy an evening of entertainment (music, poetry, comedy, etc.) with students at this popular event located in the campus center.  Event is free and open to everyone.  Sponsored by the Raider Programming Board.
